A longtime dream to show at Paris, Cecilie Bahnsen presents her first runway show in the French capital at Palais de Tokyo, bringing her modern Scandinavian interpretation of Parisian couture fabrics and techniques. Incorporating structural silhouettes into her romantic universe, building dialogue of pieces to treasure and cherish.

Cecilie Bahnsen often finds inspiration and celebrates the work of diverse women across creative industries. For Fall Winter 2022, the collection takes inspiration from writer Tove Ditlevsen, the Danish poet who has been discovered in recent years outside of Denmark, most notably by the New York Times. Cecilie remembers finding herself in the poetry: as a young designer dreaming of showing a collection in Paris, she found motivation in Tove’s courage to follow her path as an artist.
